Originally from Plzeň, Markéta spread her wings early to explore the world. Her first stop after graduation was London, where she quickly discovered that traveling wasn't just a hobby — it was her lifelong passion.

After a year and a half in England, Markéta headed to sunny Spain, instantly falling in love with its vibrant culture, language, warm-hearted people, and laid-back lifestyle. Driven by this fascination, she studied Spanish Philology at Palacký University in Olomouc, including two enriching scholarship stays at the Faculty of Philosophy in Granada—an enchanting city known for its stunning architecture and unique atmosphere.

Post-graduation, the travel winds carried her to Glasgow, Scotland, where she spent four years in the linguistic department of a mobile app company. There, she refined not only her language skills but also her organizational and communication abilities, which now perfectly complement her role as a guide.

Eventually, Prague captured her heart, and Markéta decided to settle in this magnificent city. But her thirst for adventure and cultural exchange hasn't faded; instead, it's now her profession. As a licensed guide, Markéta loves to share her passion for travel, history, architecture, and storytelling with visitors from around the world. Whether exploring on foot, by bike, or with a backpack, her enthusiasm for discovering hidden gems remains endless.

When she's not guiding, she enjoys good food, books, films, languages, and of course, planning her next adventure.
