The smallest of all Prague's quarters - Josefov, also known as the ghetto, the Jews' Quarter, the Jewish Town or the Fifth Quarter - is probably the most mysterious one from all of the Prague´s districts...

Unfortunately, at the end of the 19th century, the quarter was mercilessly swept by redevelopment, to which most of the original buildings fell victim...

Let's take a look at all the 6 synagogues that survived the demolition, take a peek at the old Jewish cemetery, find out something not only about Jewish customs and traditions, but also about important personalities whose fates are somehow connected with the Fifth Quarter...
